The fruits of our labours

The no-dig garden has been very prolific.

These are early shots of it before it grew, and grew and grew...

Germinating...

This Blog is just the seed of an idea, that hopefully will grow
and flourish.

Pretty pathetic and corny analogy but you get the idea. So for
this to be a good community base, for archiving the garden's
activity I welcome all suitable input.

Your stories, anecdotes, photos, gardening jokes ...whatever
will work to make a good story about the garden adventure we
are embarking on.

You can source my email address off the group emails, and send
in your submissions. Put in captions or details of photos and
photographer credits, names if you wish.

Anonymous is OK too.

Cheers, Shelley.

Let the gardening begin!

This is a Blog about Edgeworth David Community Garden, situated
in Hornsby. NSW. Australia.

It is run by a band of volunteers, and is starting to take shape very
well.

Although it may have taken a long time to get off the ground, it has
been debated, planned and some of the plans are slowly being
implemented.

On opening the garden to the public though, the first project was a
no-dig garden, a bit of an experiment. Well it has been a mighty
success.

Lots of produce grew quickly over the Summer, and has subsequently
been harvested.
